Happy Happy Joy Joy!

This is one patient little flower. It came home with me last week Friday and is still waiting for its own little pot.

This happy little flower has its own pot. We bought it just for the colors of the flowers.

This strange little guy came home with us from the Co-Op because it had these strange little folded petals. Some of the new flowers don't have this fold in the petals.

Verdolagas sprouts

This is an action shot of our verdolagas (purslane) just getting their first true leaves. We grew them from seeds that we ordered online. It's hard to believe that you can't find their seeds more readily locally. Of course, that may be because they grow wild here along the ditchbanks and are considered by some to be a weed. Doesn't stop them from being delicious though. (These are planted in a little pot that I made. It's way too shallow so they'll have to be repotted, but they're fine at the moment.)

These are our patio babies. For all the rest, there is an inevitable garden blog, GardenBlog3000 (GB3K).
