No New Work--Again

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I'm not getting any work done at the studio, but here are some pictures of things that I took with my phone and some words about those things.

The first thing is this thing that I saw at Target yesterday while we were in the pet department loading up on cat food:

This may look like limited edition winter pine scented kitty litter--and it is--but it's also all the evidence you need that cat owners are insane. (True, we are. But even we are not so insane that we bought this stuff. Are you kidding? I'm waiting until it goes on sale. I ain't paying seven dollars for that.)

And this is the sight that greeted me as I left my final exam last Tuesday night:

That's one of the drawbacks about taking classes at night, the scary walk across the dark, nearly empty parking lot. (The school is pretty good about having a security guard patrolling, and there is usually a cop sitting in his car near the building entrance, but somehow none of that makes me feel very much safer, you know?)

Oh, and about the final exam: I think I did okay. I haven't checked my grades yet. (I mean, why? It's not like they're going to claw back my degrees if I got a B in this class, right?)

And this is a crap picture of Dave and me that I took while we were waiting for some friends last Sunday.

Not much to say about that, I guess.

Oh and this weird thing happened this morning:  I woke up very early. It was still dark. I could hear Dave in the shower, so I didn't even bother to get out of bed even though I had to pee. After awhile, I heard the shower go off and still I stayed in bed waiting for Dave to come out of the bathroom. I waited and waited. After about 20 minutes, I decided I would get up and knock on the door. I got up and saw that the bathroom door was open. No Dave. I was alone in the casita. Dave had left for work before I even woke up.
