Not that I did much of that this week beyond two visits to Blake's Lotaburger for Itsa burger combos (Itsa burger with cheese and green chile, seasoned fries, large diet Pepsi). Usually when Dave goes out of town there are a couple of fried chicken feasts in there as well, but this time I wasn't feeling the fried chicken thing, so Lotaburger it has been.
Doesn't look like much, but man, are they tasty. (And their website informs me that in 2006 National Geographic magazine voted them #4 in the top ten burgers in the U.S.)
The other things I've been doing is going down to the studio twice a day. No, I haven't been working on my own stuff. I've had to go down there to give twice-daily doses of antibiotics to Albus, the studio cat.
Yes, that's him getting pets at the vet's office where we took him because bites he got in a recent fight left him with an infection that the vet thinks may have progressed to cellulitis. So now every twelve hours, I get to catch and dose him. Normally he comes running when he hears my voice because I feed him canned food, but after the second day of having me squirt bubblegum-flavored--whose idea was that?!--antibiotics down his gullet, he started to run away when he saw me coming. Lucky me. Only eleven more days of that.
