A stack of one hundred crumb blocks. The fabric I want to use to make them into a quilt arrived this afternoon.
Had a consultation with a surgeon in Florida earlier today. Likely going to go ahead with the surgery. It's scary-- but also something I've wanted to do for decades. It's time.
After, I worked on a quilt and cried a lot.
Dave made bread and dal for dinner. We went for a short drive after, just to get out of the house for a bit.
It's been an emotional time recently. We need more breaks in our lives, and more change, too.
