Saturdays are my usual acupuncture days. I never thought I'd get to the point where I could sleep with a dozen needles sticking in me, but there it is. Dr. Wei put the needles in, turned down the lights and turned on some music, and after a few minutes, I was in dreamland.

My new kanji textbook. I suppose it'll be helpful to study kanji whether I go to Japan or China next year. It'll be nice not to be entirely illiterate in that part of the world.
Tomorrow I'm going hiking at Tent Rocks with Dave, Claire, Nicole, Lan, Ming, Xi, Rosa, and Xi's mother
