Fallen

Kazuchi, who is my source for all news Japanese, recently mentioned quite casually that two more of my former coworkers, Chie and Jun, have gotten married. (No, not to each other!)

This is Chie (with Masashi, at Akiko's wedding). I'm sure she married the same man, Hiroshi, that she was dating when we worked together. Chie was originally from Hiroshima, went to college in Tsukuba (very near to Tokyo), and studied English in Canada. After college, she wanted to be an English teacher, but was tapped to become an assistant manager at The Kaisha. I greatly admired Chie because she was honestly virtuous--a rare trait in this world--and her thoughts were never, never malicious in nature, not for any reason, not at any time.

And, ah, Jun. Jun (seen here with Seth and Kenny at Kachi-Kachi-Yama) was, honestly, one of the best looking men I have ever met in my life. I'm guessing a lot of women have a lot of unsent love letters to Jun. But, too bad so sad, Jun now has his very own ball and chain--and quite a beautiful (if shy) one.

Omedetou gosaimasu, Chie and Jun!
