Hands of the Buddha:

An old photo, taken when I visited the Daibutsu, the big Buddha, in Kamakura. It was fall then--November, I think.

Heart of the Buddha:

Last night, I joined the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) group, the worldwide group whose members pledge that, in November, they will each produce a 50,000 word novel.

I did it because I love to write and because it's time to take a step off a thousand foot pole. It's time to move forward, I mean. Time to try something new.
