This is a picture of my mom taking a picture of me at dinner this past Saturday.
This past Saturday, I was in Alamogordo to attend a regional women's conference associated with my mother's church. I really went to hear my mom speak at the conference. She did a great job!
In other news: I totally failed to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. I have my outline, my plot, and about 6,000 words, all of which were written prior to the two weeks of Japanese invasion(s) and the accompanying travel, the three overlapping house-sitting gigs, having my tooth pulled, and losing Groucho. It just didn't feel as though there was much space in there for a creative endeavor that called for 1,600 words a day. So today I'll pull up what I've written and get to writing some more. I can still turn it around.
