Second Breakfast

I usually try to eat breakfast within thirty to sixty minutes of waking up. It's one of those "rev up your metabolism" tricks that actually works for me--at least it helps me to keep my blood sugar stable, which in turn helps me to stay reasonably sane. Another trick that works for me is eating every three or so hours. I try not to go more than four hours without eating something.
Recently I've been having breakfast when I give Lewie his breakfast, which is no later than six a.m. Today, I met Lu at the gym at seven and we worked out for an hour or so. Normally I'd head off to meet with Judi to walk for an hour, then I'd have second breakfast, or what I call B2. B2 is usually very light--some vegetables and some kind of protein like a veggie burger or some naked Quorn. Today however, Judi canceled on me, so I went off to have B2 with Lu after some (sad) cardio at the gym.
That's a picture of B2 right there: a bagel with some cream cheese on it, drizzled with chocolate syrup, and a chocolate pancake (which I split with Lu). Not pictured is the side of bacon and the coffee. It was a far cry from my usual healthy B2.
B2, in other words, bled into L1--and possibly L2.
