Implanting

This afternoon Dave took this photo of the space behind my last molar. There also used to be a molar there, but I had to have it taken out last November. This morning the dentist shot me up with Novocaine, cut open the gum, drilled into my jaw, tapped up into my sinus, screwed in a titanium screw, and put a couple of stitches in to hold the gum closed until it can heal a bit. It took about an hour and I felt nothing. (Thank you, Novocaine.)

After, I went to a movie with Dave, then to lunch at Annapurna. Sometime in there the Novocaine began to wear off, so I popped some hydrocodone--or what I've often called "A Mini Vacation in a Pill."

That was my Tuesday.
