Dave should be glad I haven't posted him in full insect hunting get-up glory--knee pads, hand-held spotting lamp, camera, and the most recent addition: a head-lamp. He suits up every night and goes out to hunt for bugs, yes, in the driveway. I'm convinced he's going to get picked up some night as a suspected peeping tom. On that night, I'm going to pretend not to know him when the cops come to the door.

I joke, but he does have some very beautiful photos. He can even make a big, old, disgusting cockroach look good--almost noble--which makes me wonder why almost every photo he's ever taken of me makes me look like a frog that got run over in the road. Yes, that's right, an open-mouthed frog with a double chin and bulgy eyes. Squashed flat.

Horrible, really.
