I offer this photo with no comment except that A) Kelly First sent it to me and B) it is a photo of an ear of corn, still on the stalk, in the middle of a field of corn. That's all I have to say about that. You can draw your own conclusions.
And this is a photo that Dave took of me earlier today as I was wading in the Rio Grande with Kelly First, Kevin, and Lewie. (Dave opted out of wading as he didn't want to risk the new camera.)

After, we went to the National Hispanic Cultural Center to see an exhibit by Einar and Jamex de la Torre called Meso-Americhanics (Maneuvering Mestizaje) de la Torre Brothers and Border Baroque.
It is a really amazing exhibit. I was waylaid in the museum by the security guard who I suppose has been waiting for a long time to tell someone his life story. Someone must have designated me therapist-at-large this week and neglected to tell me. No matter. Sometimes distraction is necessary.
