There's the shipping box.
It's like Christmas all over again. Except hellishly expensive.
And speaking of hellishly expensive, the poor car went into the mechanic today. Dave noticed a pool of oil under it yesterday morning and he added more oil and basically watched as it drained out the bottom. That can't be good, I think. In fact, it took five quarts of oil just to drive it to the mechanic's. (Dave had to pull over twice to add oil.) I'm guessing it's going to mean either a new car or a firstborn child's worth of repairs.
I know that bad luck comes in threes, so I'm waiting. I'm guessing a broken bone. Or perhaps a broken water main. You know, something simple and less expensive than the last week has been.

How funny, I always grew up with hearing bad luck comes in 3's too! I believe that! I hope bad luck #3 is a light one! Maybe just a stubbed toe? Hope it's not something huge or too bad. *crosses fingers*
And I'm glad you took pics of the new computer, it's gorgeous. And yes blogging everything first does get like a sicknes doesn't it? Ha ha ha. I hear that! : )
I once said that bad luck in threes thing to a coworker (who was, like, five years younger than me), and he said, "That's what my mom always says, too!" I was, like, jeez, is it a mom thing? But that's okay because it's true!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed, too! I'm totally afraid that I'm going to drop the new computer and it'll be, like, toast! Yikes!
