Studio Mojo

I spent about seven hours at the studio yesterday. They were productive hours. I built three flowerpots, finished glazing a large vase, finished painting a small bowl, loaded a bisque kiln and carved a half dozen small things.

This is one of the pieces I carved.

It's actually just a test tile that I'll use to test glazes. It's after a drawing from the 1924 geology textbook that I keep in my studio space. I love looking at the drawings and it's inspired more than one carving.
