Cranes and Cottonwood

We walked along the bosque and saw the cranes. You can just make them out on the left. These are the kinds of days that make autumn in New Mexico unforgettable.

Signing Off

I worked as an election judge for the presidential election. It was a long day. At the end of the night, we each had to sign the official results from our district.

My Morning

I had a molar pulled. The dentist was a wiz with the anesthesia needle and as a result I felt nothing until hours and hours later. This grisly sight was worth a cell phone photo though, I thought. That's my tooth in two pieces at the top left. That's my blood, too.

I was in Singapore, having dinner at an outdoor food court with Akira. I don't remember what I had that night, but it was probably some variation of my favorite Singaporean foods, Heian chicken rice, barbequed chicken feet, and turnip cakes.
