Just Some Things

Six new little bankies, just out of the kiln. These are still about 300 degrees (I was impatient so I unloaded the kiln while it was still pretty hot) so I didn't manipulate them much to take their pictures.

New Banky

This little banky is glazed in mint and black.

Banky

I want to get a better picture of this little banky for sure. Dave thinks it's very menacing, but I like it. It's glazed with desert sage under peacock green. The eyes are black.

Banky

This little banky is glazed in sunset pink, Archie's base, and black. (That's a crap picture, I know. It was very hurriedly taken with my camera held upside down.)

Yes, I know it's a little affected (affected as in pretentious, not affected as in influenced) to call them "banky/bankies," but I'm going to do it anyway.

Albus

In other studio news, Dave and I took Albus to the vet to get his vaccinations. The actual reason he went was because he had a cut on his foot that we were afraid was going to get infected. But since it was already healing by the time we took him, we just went ahead and had him shot up with vaccinations. Albus is the priciest cat we've never owned (with the possible exception of another cat that we could never manage to tame, Doppleganger, that we took care of for about a year before he moved on).

Thursday Morning Walk

Dave and I took a walk Thursday morning, along the large irrigation ditch. I got this picture of us standing on the bridge.
