You're the Best

IMG_20110911_125148.jpg That's a note that one of the studio employees left for me, asking me to fire his bowls. Since it was one of the last kilns I was going to load, I made sure that his stuff got in (I always gave priority to the employees' work) and that my own stuff got in.

I taught tonight, another three-hour class. Two students (of the four who signed up) came. It was a very, very hands on lesson. At the end both of them tipped me. I made $9!

Speaking of making money, Dave and I threw in with Chris and Lu for a one-day crafts fair at a local church. Dave and I made $80-some, Chris and Lu Ann made $90-some. But really, the big payoff was getting rid of some of the stockpiled work we had. It's overwhelming sometimes, the amount of work we produce. Everyone's getting pottery for Christmas--again!
