This time last year, this mug. We brought it back from a pottery in Pennsylvania as a gift for Chris and Lu Ann. It's a nice mug, nice decal work.
I'm posting that picture because, man, I have taken not a single picture in weeks and weeks. What have I been doing?
Last week and this week, I've been teaching a lot because one of the regular teachers had to go off to attend to a death in his family. His classes tend to be very self-sufficient, most of the students have been coming for years and years, so I mostly gossip and help some of the newer students with basic things.
This week I'm also house- and Crunch sitting. Poor Crunch. These hundred degree days are not his favorite. We go out for walks at dawn and dusk, otherwise he's miserable. The rest of the time he lays in the air-conditioned house. He won't even go out and lay in the shady areas of the backyard. I don't blame him, I'm the same way. I've watched so much garbage television in the past several days. I mean, how much reality television does it take to rot your brain? Today I got sucked into a "Millionaire Matchmaker" marathon. I lost about six IQ points before I could tear myself away.
This week I also dropped my therapist over some ridiculous bit of stuff. She changed my appointment time, then double booked my time, then tried to charge me for a missed appointment. (And she wondered at one point why she was having trouble finding and keeping clients. Ay yi yi.) After dealing with that, I was done with her. It's not like there aren't hundreds of therapists in my little city. I guess now I get to find another one. Ugh, that process.

sorry for your 100 degree days... we have a guest room you are welcome to, but it might be like leaping from the fire into the frying pan. although a wet sizzle might feel good after a dry fry. xo
I know "they" say it's the heat not the humidity, but i'm never sure that's right! ;)s
