Long, Long Day

My goddamn phone is balking about sending pictures, so I have none to share today, which is fine, probably, since most of my day was spent in a hospital waiting room while my mother had hip replacement surgery. After her surgery, she was moved to the ICU--not for any reason except that it's a small town hospital and there were lots of open beds in the ICU so all the post-surgical patients (that is, both of them) went there.

Ugh. I'm so tired. Eleven hours at the hospital, most of it sitting in boring waiting rooms.
