A few years ago, I decided that, each year, I would try my best to celebrate my birthday on a different part of the planet. This year, we're on the road--a birthday road trip!
We're in a room in Moab, Utah, right now. We just finished dinner--salads and a caprese pizza from Paradox Pizza--and are watching some bad cable TV. It was a long day of driving, six hours total, and tomorrow we're off to Arches National Park in the morning and in the afternoon we're taking a boat tour down the Colorado River to Canyonlands National Park.
