New Work, Etc.

In the last month or so, I finished two quilts. The first was this "red and white" quilt (with many shades or red and white and also some pink thrown in there for good measure). I started this quilt about two years ago.

I also made this quilt in about ten days or so. It's a quilt-as-you-go quilt made of crumb circles, interfaced and fused down then top-stitched.   This was the distraction in the days leading up to a colonoscopy. That was not fun.

I've been sewing a lot these days. I have a quilt top done (improv stars) that will be send out to a long-arm quilter to complete (the first time I've done this). I also have blocks made to complete two more quilts (bordered half-square triangles and a sixteen patch quilt). I'm also working on two others (a scrappy crossroads quilt and a scrappy heart quilt). (Pictures someday.) And tonight, just because, I made Dave a new pair of pajama bottoms.
