What's going on?
I had a dream recently. I was a substitute teacher, teaching chemistry to adult learners. I talked about it in therapy yesterday. After therapy, we went out to pick up some takeout burgers and fries. I don't know which was more beneficial, the therapy or the burgers. I do like burgers.
We've had a lot of wind recently. Crazy wind. Crazy, like, tie everything down to keep it from blowing away type of wind. And it brought a little bit of rain--and hail--and, for a brief moment, snow. Today it's warm enough that I have the windows open.
I'm still watching old episodes of Project Runway. I may have reached my limit though. Things started to fall off around the time that they started being sponsored by the Red Robin restaurant chain and Best Western. When we had Zoom coffee with friends, they recommended the series White Lotus on HBO. We don't have HBO, but I can get episodes on Amazon. I'm in the middle of the first episode and it's...I don't know. Okay? Kind of cringey.
I had a painful dental cleaning yesterday. To add insult to injury, I had to be there at seven a.m. Since we moved, it's a 40 minute drive to the dentist, so we had to leave here at twenty after six in the morning. I have a feeling that they're going to be this way from now on. I am also likely to have to have some oral surgical type procedures sometimes in the next year. Something to look forward to.
I had some sad news about my father this week. I haven't seen him in decades, but I'm struggling. There isn't much time left. There is never enough time, is there?
