Meow

This is one of six panels of my next quilt. It's going to be called Chairman Meow. I have some glow-in-the-dark fabric paint that I'm thinking of adding to this panel, but I'm not sure if I should outline the cat so it seems to give off light or if I should paint the whole cat so it glows in the dark. Hmmm. I've got to quilt the remaining five panels, so I have time to make my decision.
Dave likes toothpaste and one of the things he liked from Japan was this Breathe Palette toothpaste, so we ordered some. They have amazing flavors like green tea, peach, chocolate, blueberry, yogurt. The tubes are very small, about the size of the ones you get from the dentist after a cleaning, along with the free toothbrush and time container of dental floss.
Gray Kitty likes to nap on the couch with me.  He curls up at the end, near my feet.  But that's only if I get there first.  If he gets there first, I have to work around him.

Still crying lots about the idea of surgery. It's something I've wanted to do for decades, so I'm not sure how to deal with the potential and the reality of it. One of the things the surgeon suggests is upping protein intake before and after surgery. I am supposed to get 150g of protein a day, which is an insane amount. The nutritionist has suggested 140g and I had trouble meeting that especially since I don't eat eggs, dairy (my stomach hurts when I drink milk)  or nuts (so no peanut butter and most protien bars are out) and limited meat.  But I've come up with a plan that includes lots of soymilk, tofu, canned tuna, chicken, protein powder, beans, and lentils.  Hopefully I can get close to 150g with that.

Time for bed again.  Goodnight.
