Characterized By No Sleep

First: Happy belated Thanksgiving to all!

Turkey Day was another workday for me...

Second: YAWN! I have gotten even less sleep than usual in the last several days. Seriously, I am averaging about four and a half or five hours a night. (Five hours is a really good night.) This is due to several things, not the least of which is that the Ex-Student is now the ex-everything, and also the ex-husband is here.

On Wednesday, I went with one X to Yokohama, to see the Nihon-maru, a ship that he (along with his classmates from Marine College) sailed around Japan. The other X went to Hachioji to see Ben's band's live.

Third: The Brain is...

Almost closed for business.

Damn I'm tired.

The banana split is very dear to the heart of British diners of a certain age. It evokes memories of 70s and 80s childhood largesse. It should, by unwritten culinary law, involve a banana, cream and ice-cream, yes, but more than this: sprinkles, and drizzled sauces in raspberry and chocolate flavours. I will accept a glacé cherry.
