Yes And/Or No
I don't have much to say these days. I'm not really sure why.
When I Can See
Here are a few random images that I can't get out of my head:
on the way to the gym near midnight, a cherry tree in bloom. snow the next day
an old woman on the subway in a black-and-white checked coat, pinned to the lapel a gold band
the student with the crush on me hands me my drink, my cassis oolong, looking into my eyes. his brown eyes warm and hurt and protected and open
Muted
So many things are unfamiliar these days and those unfamiliar things include my own voice, my own vision, my ability to interpret the symbols.
Conjugate The Verb: To Miss
What am I missing? What have I missed? What will I miss when I leave this place?
