Satur. Day.

My whole day centered around a massage. (That's one of the definitions of a perfect day, by the way.) I had a terrific massage from my friend Leah. (She also just got her license to perform acupuncture, so I can't wait to be able to get acupuncture treatments from her as well.)

Decaf Soy Latte

After a massage, I went with Leah to The Grove for sandwiches and coffee and conversation. That crappy cell phone photo up there is of my decaf soy latte. Those are three words ("decaf soy latte") that I once thought would never come out of my mouth unaccompanied by a mocking tone. But there it is, evidence of my advancing decrepitude; I can no longer handle the amount of caffeine that I once could. (And believe you me, I used to be able to ingest caffeine enough to fell large ungulates, if, you know, ungulates drank coffee.)

This crappy cell phone photo is one I took in the locker room after water aerobics.

Locker Room Gaffe

Those fluorescent lights are a real buzzkill, no?

It is a crap photo, yes, but it wasn't until after I took it that I realized I had inadvertently captured that poor woman in the background, bending over in her swimsuit. If someone took a photo of me from behind while I was wearing a swimsuit, I would not be very happy. So don't tell that woman, okay? I mean, if you recognize her, that is.

So learn from my mistakes. Don't take photos in locker rooms.

There are so many youtube videos featuring latte art. Seriously. You could spend all day looking at that...not that I know that!
