Life In Miniature
My mom's little dogs, Dolly and Lulu, won't hold still long enough for me to take a photo of them. They're like little jumpy hurricanes. Cute, but fast as hummingbirds.
Instead, here are some photos of my mom's latest needlework project, a set of doll furniture made of yarn and plastic canvas. It's intended for The Newbie, when she gets old enough to play with it.
There's the little canvas toilet, about two and a half inches tall, with a seat and lid that swing up and a little liftable toilet tank cover.
Four little chairs (that go with a little matching table).
A little 1 1/2-inch lamp on a bed table for the bedroom.
There are a few more pictures on flickr, but I'm not showing the little bathtub and hamper, the couch and chair with removable cushions, the bed, dresser, and little high chair and kitchen sink.
I'd never have the patience to do that kind of needlework. Seriously.
