1. My mother was in town today and we had lunch (Mexican food, of course) with my aunt Char, my niece and The Newbie, Dave and my older brother Rudy. After, Dave and Rudy left and the rest of us went shopping. We went to...oh, yes, we went to a Hallmark store and to Sunshine Market. Then we went to a uniform store (my niece needs a lab coat for her microbiology class). Then we went to Walgreen's. We had been planning to go to Ranch Market, but we wimped out. The Newbie was getting cranky anyway. Instead, we went by Starbucks and by my grandmother's house.
2. My grandmother's house is empty since my brother moved out at the beginning of October. The neighborhood, which has never been that great, has gotten worse recently and the house had been broken into twice in the last year.
3. At Starbucks, I ordered decaf and I swear they gave me regular and now I feel all jittery and crazy.
