So That's Good
It's been eight days since I posted. This picture sums up how I've been feeling:
That's little Albus the studio cat, sacked out on my work table.
I've actually been working, though, making a lot of beads (of all things). I've put together a few pairs of earrings from some of them even.
What else have I done? Well, this morning, I registered for classes. I'll be taking botany and the accompanying lab in the fall. Since I left the university, tuition has doubled. Four credit hours is over a thousand bucks. ((( sigh ))) I thought I was done being a broke student, but apparently The Brain has other plans for us.
This is my botany professor, Diane. Yes, she's also a potter. Here she was doing a demonstration at the recent New Mexico Arts and Crafts Fair.
I went to the crafts fair twice, once with Dave and Kelly First, once to help Diane pack up her booth. (It's all fun and games being a potter until you have to pack up and move pottery, let me tell you.) I didn't buy much, just a pair of earrings from another potter. (Dave bought a bowl and Kelly bought a mug from the same potter, and, unexpectedly, Judi also bought something from the same potter when she went to the show.)
What else is going on? Well, I've gone back on Weight Watchers and have lost eight pounds. My aunt and I have also gone back to water aerobics, which is my main source of exercise right now. (I need to add another, definitely.) So that's good.
