At Least It's Not Mugs

Dave and I had lunch at Kokoro. I managed a photo of our miso soup and kampyo roll, but when our entrees came, I dug in before thinking of the camera. Gluttony and food porn are oddly at odds with each other, in my case at least.

Miso soup

Miso soup, which came with my entree. I'm not a fan though, so I gave it to Dave.

We split this kampyo roll. Kampyo is actually a type of gourd. It's dried in strips then cooked in a sweet soy sauce. It sounds strange (and it is), but it's delicious.

I had oyaku-don, which is chicken cooked in soy sauce with egg, over rice. Dave had miso ramen, which was awesome.

The Cats!

Saba

Saba is not thrilled since we took in this stray kitty.

Gray Kitty

He doesn't have a name yet. We've just been calling him Gray Kitty. He's still a young cat, probably in the throws of kitty adolescence, but he's very sweet. Unfortunately, he's still about 70% stray, but we're working on it.
