So these are the remaining banks, still drying:
This gives you a little perspective on the sizes. My little alien that I threw is sitting in front of one of the big banks that Dave threw for me and which I altered into this ant-like creature at his suggestion.
There she is in all her ant-y glory.
This is another one of Dave's thrown pieces that I altered into another one-eyed alien. I like this one because the coins go into the little toothy mouth.
There's the family together, with too much flash, like a bad Sears portrait.
This is my little eight-eyed, eight-legged crab-ish spider bank.
There are a couple more aliens. I like the tri-toothy one with the little suckered hand-thingies.
There's a little beatnik bank. He's a squat fellow, so I held him up to take his picture.
This little banky wanky started out as a kind of unicorn, but the horn looked better bent over, so now it has a kind of uni-pompadour look to it.
I thought about turning those eyebrows into little worms, but didn't for some reason. Instead, I added a heart.
Those aren't ears, but wings, believe it or not. That's a bee bank.
In other news, I've been making my way through old episodes of Two Fat Ladies. Do you know that wonderful cooking show? I ordered the series on DVD from Amazon. I love them. I've also been watching the new season of Futurama, after my brother emailed me to tell me they were on Netflix. I love that show, too. I can't believe it had a seven year hiatus and came back as strong as ever. I'm a huge Bender Bending Rodriguez fan.

I love how all these banks are so full of personality and that they are all so different. Can't wait to see them glazed.
You and me both! Glazing is going to be the hard part, I think.
