Ocarinas and Ladybugs

Collaborating with Dave on some ocarinas.  The throws the bodies and makes the ocarina and I add some hand-built elements.



This kissy-face was the last one we did together. You have to blow into the mouth to make it sound.



This is a Venus whistle (one of two) that I put together, just sort of doodling with clay while I was talking to some people in the studio.



This is a picture of a ladybugs, which have overtaken our sunflowers which became aphid-ridden when we chopped off the flower heads. The ladybugs and their larvae are having a grand old time, feasting and mating and laying eggs and pupating all over the place, just enjoying the dregs of summer.
