After I put away the groceries and ate my lunch, I tried to get a nap and failed miserably, so I got up and had a cup of coffee. I watched a couple of episodes of Grace & Frankie on Netflix. (I'm on the last episode now.) I cleaned the bathroom, did the dishes, and prepped dinner.
We're having tempeh tacos tonight. So I made fresh salsa and mixed up some taco seasonings to add to the ground up tempeh. I used the little Cuisinart food processor, my little kitchen helper, to do almost all the prep (chopping onions, garlic, tomatoes, and jalapenos). I only wish I had gone one size up the food processor scale so that I could also use it to grate things.
After dinner, I packed up some leftovers for Dave to take to lunch tomorrow. Then while I did the dishes, Dave watered the garden and patio. We had a little rain in the afternoon, but it wasn't enough to really matter to the plants.
When our little chores were done, we went to the studio and unloaded the bisque kiln. It fired successfully to cone 06 and I got a few finished pieces out of it, all stuff I've shown before. The repairs I made to a couple of pieces using a commercial bisque mender held. We'll see if they hold through cone 3.
I didn't have time to take many pictures--and the few I did take are blurry as hell--since Judi came out to chat. We ended up going in to visit with Paul and Crunch and Dave helped Paul look over his printer which has been misbehaving lately.
This is a little 3-inch mask intended to hang on the wall:

This angry little guy is about an 1 1/2 inches tall.

He's got quite a glare, doesn't he. Do the kids still call that mad dogging?
