Procrastination

I had my first exam today and I have my second tomorrow. I'm taking a quick study break right now. (I'm more cramming than studying, and I've only been at it for 2 hours, which is nothing in the greater scheme of cramming.)

My motivation is low right now.

Yesterday, Dave and I went and got our flu shots and I swear my immune system is draining every bit of energy out of me as it gets my anti-flu defenses up and running. I would have put off getting the flu shot until after the exams this week, but the compliance office wanted documentation by today, so I waited until the last minute. Of course. (Though just as we were sitting down to the exam today, one of my classmates ran in and said, "I just got my flu shot!" So I guess I lost the procrastination race.)

The shot was...ugh. I'm not good with shots or with needles in general, which is slightly ironic perhaps.

Anyway, this has been a very uneven feeling week.

I was going to take a short break from study, but that turned into nearly an hour break, watching youtube videos and reading various blogs. It's almost midnight, so I need to get up now and get back to work.

Blah.

Good luck with your exams and the cramming for them.

I hate getting the Flu shot too, I always get a sore swollen arm afterwards...doesn't bother my husband at all. Not fair!

Have a great rest of week...

Hi Helen! Thanks!

I imagine you're in transit on your way back to Japan by now. I have enjoyed reading about your visit with your Canadian family. :D
