I spent the day sleeping, cleaning, sewing and singing.
In the morning, I reorganized our glass and plastic storage containers and got rid of a bunch of stuff that no longer had mates on the shelf (which I wiped down). Then I took a nap (I'm still not sleeping very well). When I got up, I cleared off the top of our big bookcase/room divider and cleared away the detritus that's collected in front of the smaller bookcase the printer sits on.
During one of my cleaning breaks, I sat down to check my email and saw that iQuilt had sent me a coupon for 40% off one of its online courses. I had already purchased a course by a quilter named Gwen Marston, so I used the coupon to buy another course by her. It's not as interesting, but interesting enough at a 40% discount.
In the afternoon, it was warm enough to have to windows and front door open, so I opened them while I sewed. I am making a case to put my pajamas in during the day. Usually I tuck my pajamas under a pillow when--if--I make the bed (rare)--but for some reason, The Brain suddenly wants a pillow-case-ish place to put them. I saw a woman online who kind of free-hand pieces together letters, so I figured I'd try doing the same.

LOVE MY WAY (from the song by the Psychedelic Furrs).
Around 3:00 p.m., I got up from my sewing machine and took a shower. (Today's lipstick was Jordana Modern Matte in the shade Matte Frappuccino (a kind of light coffee brown).
Dave got home around 4:30 (he had taken the afternoon off to go and meet his mother's new home healthcare worker--she shares my name, which, what does that mean in your dream?--and take his mother to a doctor's appointment). We had time for a quick snack (yogurt, brownies) before we had to head off to our singing lesson.
It was our first lesson of the new year and our first since December 12. I think it went well. We mostly worked on exercises to help us sing in harmony, then we spent a quick 15 minutes on "Hello, Goodbye."
We came home via the co-op and made dinner (burrito bowls with pinto beans, calabacitas, cheese, sour cream, salsa, and whole wheat tortillas). Then I sewed a bit more while Dave rested his shoulder (he aggravated a pinched nerve recently). Bedtime was early--9? 10?--which meant I was up at 2:00 a.m.
