Sunday

I slept in on my birthday and got a new iron. (My old one is a cheapie that has worked very well, but the steam function is barely functioning, so Dave got me a new one with more bells and whistles and an ironing mat to go with it, which was also nice since I rarely set up our ironing board in favor of putting a towel down on the kitchen counter). I also got some chocolate and new quilting fabric. In the spirit of "start as you mean to go on," in the evening I cut apart some too-small shirts to start making a skirt and, late at night, I sewed a single pillowcase. It was a good and quiet day.

Dave and I had dinner on Thursday with my mother, aunt and my aunt's boyfriend. It was a mixed birthday/graduation celebration. We went for barbeque at my new favorite place.

I'm in the post-term funk zone, where I'm exhausted and bewildered and don't feel like doing anything except staying up all night watching youtube videos and sleeping half the day away. I started my vitamin D regimen again (50K I.U.s once a week for several weeks). And I started taking B-12 again. (I let things slide while I was in school and now I'm paying for it.)

Today I snuck over and pet the pups next door and fed them treats. A lot of treats. We could all use more treats.

Today I finished two quilted envelope pillows, both of which have been languishing in my unfinished work for months. Dave did laundry. We set up a new bed frame. Then we went out and picked up a pizza for dinner. That was Sunday.

I've been feeling washed out all day.

What happens next?
