Just the Facts

Sewing today: I finished Gray Kitty's second quilt, machine quilted and bound it and then Dave threw it in the wash and hung it out to dry. Gray Kitty can cuddle up with it tomorrow.  He's now officially got more quilts than anyone else in the house.

Therapy today. Dave drove me because my vertigo is getting better, but driving is still not great. It makes me nervous. I hope by my next appointment, two weeks from now, I will be back to driving.

After therapy, we went by the clay store and Dave got some clay (he's been throwing, making butter bells at the request of a friend) and I got some bisque to paint and fire. I'd rather be hand-building, of course, but my shoulder makes that impossible, so I figured that at least I could make something. I bought two pasta bowls and four salad plates to paint. I thought about buying tiles, but ended up with something that will still be useful even if it's ugly.

After the clay store, we stopped and had dinner at a Mexican restaurant. I had carne adobada enchiladas (brought half home) and Dave had cheese enchiladas. Now I have heartburn from the red chile.

When we came home, I worked on the quilt (then an eye mask and a face mask) while Dave did laundry, then he got on the exercise bike and then I got on the exercise bike. I did 20 minutes, but it didn't raise my heart rate as much as it used to, so I'm going to have to up the resistance on the bike.

My sleep schedule has started its monthly devolution. I'm sleeping in three two-to-three hour chunks again and soon I will be trying to survive on a scant handful of hours a night. Then it will cycle around and I'll go back to sleeping seven or so hours a night.
