Good Deeds

We just got home from our friend Judi's house. She's out of town until tomorrow and we took advantage of her being gone to use her big washer to wash some quilts and other stuff. I also watched some cable TV while we were there (since we don't have a TV at home, I always get some junk TV time in at Judi's). I flipped back and forth between an episode of Law & Order that I've seen at least three times before (it was a Lenny Brisco episodes and those are the best ones), an episode of Man v. Food (the new host is as annoying as the old host and it was a lot of footage of bbq'd meat that all looks the same after awhile), and an episode of some kid-centric baking show hosted by Valerie Bertinelli of One Day at A Time fame (remember that show?) and Duff the Baltimore baker who used to have a show called Charm City Cakes or something like that. Then I remembered that cable TV sucks and I turned it off and went to fold laundry.

We were both too tired to cook, so we had Korean takeout, bibimbap with tofu for both of us, kimbap for me (Dave doesn't like seaweed), and a veggie fritter for Dave. Now I'm a bit dehydrated and need to slam a bunch of water before bed.

I have a virtual appointment in the morning with someone from the sleep center to see if I need a sleep study. That should be fun. I wonder how they do those in a pandemic setting? I'm not sure I want to find out.

My 365 quilt square yesterday featured an aggressive ragweed pollen grain. I don't know what I'll do today. Maybe book stuff? I finished reading Dreams from My Father and have started on Made in America by Bill Bryson.

Ugh. So tired. So dehydrated.
