We had this little fool visiting with us for the week while his owner was out of town. You can see him here on our courtyard (which is scattered with upturned pans that have ant bait under them because I didn't want the dogs to get the ant bait). He is a sweetheart of a dog, but very needy. I handed off his care to Dave. (He also really bonded to Dave when he was very young and so now thinks they're the best of friends, which is fine until he--the dog--drags his wet beard across your face while you're trying to sleep.)
The balloon fiesta was going on at the same time as we had this little fool. This was our view while driving along the highway that morning. There were about sixty or so balloons up. These are just the ones that had to cross the highway.
It was mostly rained out (four maybe of seven days?). Fine by me. This town needs rain more than it needs balloonies.
We're continuing to unpack and arrange the house. I've hit a roadblock with my sewing things. They're still mostly packed. But the move has been a boon for my therapist who I'm talking to twice a week via Zoom. That's how stressful moving has been.

Aww he looks so cute. The balloons look awesome. I've never been up in one but would love to one day. Sorry to hear that your packing is stressing you out!
Hi Kelly! I've never been in one either, but I'm afraid of heights, so...maybe never? Lol!
