Did you know I could dance? Me either. But on Thursday night, I went to a beginner salsa lesson in Harajuku that was being held by the Japan Social Dance Club. Here's a picture of me dancing with the only man in Japan who is taller than I am. Sadly, he was a terrible leader.
The man just behind him, who is dancing with my friend Rinako, was a much better dancer. He also happens to be married to my friend Kaz. They own a dance studio in Takodanbaba and he teaches and choreographs dance all over the world. That's an interesting story in and of itself--but for another time, because I want you to have time to look at another picture, this one of me playing darts in a dark club in Harajuku where Kaz, Rinako and I went after the dance lesson.
It's been an interesting Golden Week, that's for sure!
