Morning girlies!

Just finished reading the latest entries of Bren's blog....wish I had time to go in and read it daily. Anyway I'm writing re: the June 16 entry that perhaps should now be titled, Real Truth vs Truth vs Memory :O)

Here goes..........Sister's son Fernando was not killed over a joint. He was shot dead for kicking a pregnant girl in the stomach! A Lusta girl carrying HIS child. A Lusta girl no one wanted anything to do with unless it was to get in her pants! (dirty bastard! I think I would have shot him too)!

The girl, Peete Martinez was the sister of Pinky Martinez. Lusta was the Martinez's nickname not their real last name. Wish I could remember how the name Lusta came about. I think it had something to do with the dad's name; one of those long Spanish names that gets shortened cuz its easier to pronounce. Anyway, after being kicked she went home and told her family. (poor Peete, I'm sure she even went into labor) Her brother was so pissed (who wouldn't be?) he came back to the park with a gun and shot 'Nando.

Every single member of Sisters family despised ALL the Martinezes even more so after that. 'Nando's younger brothers would beat up, taunt & tease all the Martinezes any opportunity they got. Have to give those Lustas credit.....they didn't retaliate, continuing the feud. Can you imagine getting your ass kicked almost daily? And doing nothing about it? Who in this story are the better persons?

As for Veronica being tormented..........I remember Vero assuming ownership of the park and yelling at everyone who went through it if she didn't like them or thought they didn't belong there for some reason or if they walked too close to her fence. I think she tormented herself while a little voice whispered, "Shoot 'em up, girl." A-la!

That last part made me laugh, mostly because it's true that Vero-nutso-ca probably did hear a little voice whispering to her to shoot up that kid. I mean, who shoots a kid to teach them a lesson? She should have just run him over with her car or something.
