This is my latest Shrinky Dink experience:
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, The Skeptic!
There's the drawing I traced from my anatomy coloring book and its Shrinky Dink.
And there is the scapula. (Sadly, it kinda looks like a T-bone steak when it's shrunk down. Ah, well!)
And behold, Sternocleidomastoid Man!
And a very happy, black-toothed calavera next to a tailbone. (Dave liked the tailbone and took it to put on his altar. He helped me with the shrinking part of the process as the fumes from the shrinking plastic give me a headache.)
And another calavera:
I made earrings from the calaveras, and I put The Skeptic on a jump ring to hang like a charm from a necklace or bracelet. I want to make more earrings out of my little anatomy Shrinky Dinks. Fun, no?
Today's journal painting was a quickie calavera.
I hate to waste paint, so if I have any left in the palette after I'm finished, I use it to practice some brush strokes or to paint a simple border around the page I'm going to write on.
Waste not, want not, eh?
