There's our little battle-scarred Gray Kitty. He's got five more days of the cone and who knows how long 'til his fur grows in, but he's better otherwise. (Right now he's snuggled up on the bed with Dave.) Saba is likewise on the mend. She's jonesing for dry food since she's not allowed to have it until her gums heal up. We placate her with some chicken and cheese flavored soft treats and lots of canned food. She has a little kitty canned food buffet laid out for her at mealtimes and she has a bite here and a bite there but then goes and chews on the bag that holds her dry food, trying to get at it. We have some spoiled cats, let me tell you. But last night when they snuggled up with me at bedtime, I was reminded why they are so pampered.
We're off to the gym in a few minutes to do a bit of cardio. We went last night (Sunday afternoon and Friday nights at the gym are great because it's almost completely empty, just us oldies and a few hardcore gym rats). I did a bit of a cardio warm-up, then some heavier lifting. I've starting using more free weights to work out my arms and chest, and the only thing sore today is my elbows. How strange is that? It's actually just above my elbows in my triceps, but it's my elbows that feel it when I move.
Just a little more caffeine and I'll be ready.
