That's always where it goes.
New calavera tumblers in the works. (This is just wax resist over black glaze, about a quarter of the way through the process.) We'll see.
Cartoon-y, child-like, hopefully. Something new.
I found a spider in one of the big plastic cups I use when glazing.
It must've been there for quite awhile because its back was all dusty. Dave let it go out by the gas kiln and poured a little puddle of water on the ground near it and said it drank and drank for a long time. Poor thing.
This past weekend was the Empty Bowls throwing party. I threw for about two hours and trimmed for another hour. Seventeen bowls all in all. Now I'm done with throwing for the time being. Back to handbuilding, which takes a greater concentration and a much slower mind.

Wax! I always forget about wax! Lookin good, chica.
je je! I don't normally use wax because it's so unwieldy, but here, it works to keep everything all contained.
