Working the Complexity Angle

So this is kind of where this is going.

That is the part below the belt, so to speak, that I'm working on adding a 3D flower "pattern" to.

It will work its way up the bodice, but it is slow going. The flowers are cut using cookie, clay, and fondant cutters, put into place, then altered in various ways. The skullies are just done by hand. I've got the larger flowers put in place, now I will fill in the bits in between with smaller flowers and such.

When the dust settles, the flowers will be multi-hued and very bright, the skullies the usual white, the belt red, and the background pitch black. I think. That's the plan anyway.

It was a trying kind of day today. Mostly because my allergies were trying to kill me.

We had pizza for dinner then I went to bed and slept for awhile. I'm fasting now, because I have my annual check up blood draw in the morning. Fasting is always fun. (Not really.) But it's only another eight hours. I can do anything for eight hours, right?
